There are a number of things that we may not think about or even care about until it is too late. For example, what is the shipper’s record with the US Food & Drug Administration? Is the company regulated? Are they properly insured? These are all important questions and you should always know the answers to them. See our website to know more about saber certificate.

  1. The new system for shipping and handling was implemented in December of 2021 and included the addition of the term “secure by shipping” to the definition of the main product certification. This was immediately controversial because many companies saw this as an attack on their profits, not to mention a slap in the face to the Arab regimes that supply the country with weapons and money. In response, the government quickly made statements and issued threats. Saber certificate was selected as one of the international certification bodies to implement the new system.
  2. After proving compliance with all applicable regulations and rules, companies can move into the second phase, which involves the submission of new product registration. The new products that must be presented for import clearance must also pass the saber certificate review process. Once the new products have been submitted for import clearance, they can resume their normal shipment operations.
  3. While all companies that export goods have to obtain a saber certificate, only those in one of the two categories will be required to do an inspection of their shipment coc before the goods leave the warehouse. The two categories are based on whether the importer is exporting to the Arabian Peninsula (AP) or Eastern Mediterranean (EMA) region. For example, if an exporter from the EMA is sending a consignment of machinery and equipment that is eligible for an export license, it would simply need to take the appropriate administrative action to fulfill the delivery requirement, including submitting the appropriate documents to the designated authorities.

Both types of saber certificates are valid for the full period of the product’s validity. There are no extension periods available for the two categories of shipments, which means that all legitimate importers will have to submit their documentation for each leg of their journey, starting from the first day that the about cargo ship leaves port until the day the shipment is released into commercial channel.
